On-line Alpha Course Launching Soon

Turner’s Cross Parish is offering an on-line Alpha Course beginning on 18th May, 2020. We invite you to try Alpha with us on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm, concluding on Monday 22nd June.

This will be our sixth adult Alpha Course in Turners Cross since 2013. The other courses were all held in the Parish Centre at Christ the King Church, and participants were universally positive about it. Because of the Covid-16 restrictions we are offering this course on an on-line basis, with twice-a-week sessions using the Zoom Conference format.

Alpha creates a space for a conversation about faith, life, and God. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Sessions cover topics such as Who is Jesus? Why did Jesus die? How does God guide us? Why and How do I pray? We don’t assume any background knowledge of or belief in Christianity and everyone is welcome.

At each session after a short introduction we watch a video presentation covering one of the Alpha topics and then break into smaller groups to discuss the presentation and questions arising from it.

Alpha is for everyone, no question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. Come along and see what you think.

No pressure, no follow up, no charge.
